Not a Salaried Position
Venture Partners will receive 2% compensation from any capital raised for the fund, which includes our portion of the management fees. Additionally, proportional carried interest will be granted based on the amount of funding secured.
Each Venture Partner serving on the Finance Committee will have the initial opportunity to claim a board seat within our portfolio companies, with one seat allocated per member.
This position was created to address the following:
Capital needs of the fund (as we are raising the remaining $20m in our $30m Reg 504B offering).
Assess the capital needs of our portfolio companies.
Syndicate investments sponsored by the fund.
Serve as a resource for alternative methods of capital such as debt financing, loan capital, venture debt or other recommendations to address capital needs.
Lend expertise to the fund when pursuing a portfolio exit through M&A or other offering method
Service on a small board of advisors. Board members meet every two months. Although, we love and welcome communication between Venture Partners, startups and the GP as well.
